Mastering For Vinyl

Mastering for vinyl from tape—no computers. It’s very simple and quite difficult at the same time. If you record and/or mix direct to tape you probably already know why. It just sounds great. But, to get the most out of that recording, you must cut the vinyl through an all-analog signal path. This is how every record was made in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

If you send off you digital masters to a record pressing plant, you are not treating your music to the ultimate sound. Less is more. Fewer conversions, fewer components, fewer options all help you achieve your unique sound.
